Training weekend 26 – 28 February 2010

Congratulations to Rod Stoddart receiving an MBE in the New Years Honours 2009

This winter remains challenging for training. At our last training near Invergarry, the snow was above car roof level on the road! Nevertheless, a good two days training was achieved in Glen Nevis. In cold but bright conditions, handlers going for assessment in March put themselves and their dogs through their paces. This is the last chance to work on remaining points before dogs and handlers are rested in the run up to a gruelling 3 day assessment in Glencoe.

Socially, we all enjoyed an excellent meal on Saturday night. This was bravely prepared by dog handlers who volunteered their culinary expertise. The soup, chilli con carne and fruit crumble were greatly appreciated!

Our thanks go to the Invergarry Village Hall Committee for use of their hall
